Laurence K. Fishman – CEO & President
Laurence was introduced to dentistry through his father, Dr. Fishman, a practicing dentist. At the age of 18 he began working at a 50-man dental laboratory as a driver. Having a natural affinity for lab work, he started to learn the inner-workings of a dental lab with an "over the shoulder" technique; watching technicians fabricate cases.

In 1988, he began to formulate ideas to improve logistics and efficiencies, which motivated him to open Trident Dental Laboratories at the age of 24. Now, after 14 years at the helm, Trident currently supports over 1,000 employees. Laurence’s philosophy is that every dentist who uses Trident’s services should expect quality, depend on our service and always receive value. Outside of work, Laurence enjoys golfing, boating and exercising.

Bob Vartanian – Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Bob graduated with a B.S. in Marketing and Management from Atlantic Christian College, Wilson, NC in 1980. With over 22 years of overall sales and marketing experience, Bob started his dental career as the International Sales Manager for Steri-Oss Dental Implants, over seeing Latin America and Asia. He managed the western region for CeraMed and was V.P. of Sales & Marketing for Microdental before joining Trident. He enjoys golfing, tennis and spending time with his family.

Mark Nelson – Vice President, Business Development
Mark brings his extensive international experience to Trident Laboratories from twenty five years of building and managing businesses throughout Europe, Asia and the Pacific Rim. With an excellent foundation in the digital design and manufacturing of engineered plastics and metals, along with a solid background in rapid prototype processes and manufacturing. Mr. Nelson is leading Trident into the digital dental arena to expand its technologies and bring our customers the best quality restorations in the industry.

M. Consuelo Wilson – Vice President of Administration/Human Resources
Consuelo has over 15 years experience in Administration and Human Resources. Prior to joining Trident Consuelo served as Vice President of Administration/HR for the Burbank Group of Aircraft Companies, (Burbank Aeronautical Corp. II, Quiet Nacelle Corp, Quiet Skies, Inc. and Topeka Management). Consuelo received a BA in International Business from the Colombo American University (South America) and a BS in Psychology from the Javeriana Jesuit University. She is currently pursuing a degree in HR with emphasis on Business from UCLA. Consuelo is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the Human Resources Knowledge Network (HRKN). In her free time she enjoys, running marathons, reading and traveling worldwide.

J. Michael Patrella – Director of Operations
Michael holds a Master of Business Administration and a B.A. in Economics from California State University, Northridge. In addition, he is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership. Michael is highly experienced in the areas of operations, quality systems, SCM, and rapid change management. Prior to joining Trident Michael was the Director of Operations for Kaiser Permanente Vision Services and the Vice President of Operations for Eyecare Service Plan, Inc. Michael is a US Marine Corps veteran and received the Good Conduct Medal for honorable service. Outside of work, Michael is devoted to his wife and three children, and is a college football and NFL fanatic.

Bob Cullivan – Director of Quality Control
Bob graduated with a B.A., with honors, in Business Administration from Cal State Fullerton in 1992 and awarded with an A.S., with honors, in Dental Technology from Rancho Santiago College in 1987. Bob has over 23 years of experience in the dental field. Before joining Trident he began his dental career as a Laboratory Technician, then advanced to a Ceramist-Technical Manager, and later became a Dental Laboratory Owner. Bob enjoys fishing and playing hockey.
